Position Summary
We are seeking QA/QC Inspector to join our growing team! As a QA/QC Inspector, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards by inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

Shift
  • Part-time, 20 hours per week
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10 hour shifts
  • 07:00 to 17:00

Duties and Responsibilities
Primary
  • Inspect and sample bulk and finished products.
  • Monitor and release all aspects of manufacturing and packaging operation line activities prior to manufacturing/packaging.
  • Perform regular QA/QC in-process checks for production operations.
  • Perform physical and taste testing on finished products.
  • Perform finished goods inspection.
  • Perform, check, and ensure completeness of production documentation.
  • Maintain and archive retention samples of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Prepare samples for testing by contract laboratory.
  • Assist with nonconformance and deviation investigations.
  • Perform environmental monitoring.
  • Any other related duties as issued by QA/QC Managers.

  • Report equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Report quality deficiencies immediately.
  • Offer suggestions for process improvement.
  • Other related duties.
Qualifications
Knowledge
  • Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Have read all relevant SOPS.
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
Assets
  • Quality Assurance experience.
  • Quality Control experience.
  • Proven previous quality inspection.
Skills
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics (adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing).
  • Basic proficiency in using computer.
  • Basic proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
Abilities
  • Lift a minimum of 10 kg.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
  • Balance a variety of competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
Health
  • Must be in good health with no communicable diseases or dust allergies.
  • No food allergies – must be able to taste test all product.
  • Must wear approved non-slip safety shoes.
  • Must follow appropriate gowning procedure before going into production area.
  • Follow health & safety regulations.
