Lycopodium Limited is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to join our Health, Safety, & Environment team in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and guiding the implementation of quality management systems across various projects.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in Project Engineering or similar roles, with a focus on quality and stakeholder engagement. We offer a competitive salary between $60,000 and $70,000 and a supportive work environment committed to career progression.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Project/Field Engineering, ideally on Mineral Processing Plants.
• Tertiary qualification or trade background in engineering, welding, material science, construction management or business management.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.

Lycopodium Americas is currently recruiting for a QA/QC Inspector to join our growing Health, Safety, & Environment team in Mississauga, Ontario.

Reporting to: Health, Safety, & Environmental Manager

The tasks you’ll perform

• Ensure compliance with the project-specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards
• Assist with the creation, implementation and maintenance of project-specific procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to enable improved efficiency
• Assist with project control activities, including scheduling, forecasting and other deliverables to a consistently high standard
• Provide advice and guidance on the application of the Quality Management System with respect to Client contract requirements to Project Management
• Monitor quality performance and provide reports to the project team and management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities where required
• Prepare, implement and maintain project quality plans, ensure that all contractual quality requirements are effectively communicated and met
• Carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, in a manner that prioritises safety, environment, community and industrial relations
• Participate in the project quality management process, including carrying out inspections at vendor’s premises and review of vendor quality documentation
• Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development and succession planning for personnel within your business unit
• Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace
• Comply with instructions given for your safety and health and that of others in adhering to safe work procedures
• Arrange or conduct audits or documented review to verify the effective establishment of project management processes, systems and procedures fully compliant with contractual obligations
• Manage non-compliance processes for Lycopodium internal activities, including resolution of customer‑issued NCRs for major projects
• Occasional visits to project sites

The expertise you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience in Project/Field Engineering, ideally working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects
• Tertiary qualification or trade background in engineering, welding, material science, construction management or business management
• Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and co‑workers

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000.This range is based on the role’s job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting.
