Job summary

Frontage Vancouver is seeking a QA Officer I to support GLP-regulated CRO activities in Vancouver, BC. You will audit study data, write and review SOPs, and monitor CAPA and deviations to ensure compliance.

The role requires a science degree, knowledge of ICH M10/GLP, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work extended hours when needed in a fast-paced team focused on quality and client-regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline is required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical contract research and GLP knowledge is an asset.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as ICH M10 and GLP.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precise documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Audit study data and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Write, update, and review SOPs.
• Track CAPA and deviations.
• Inspect facility records.
• Conduct routine internal audits to identify deviations or non-compliance issues.
• Conduct training sessions on regulatory affairs.
• Assist in preparation of client site/regulatory audits.
• Maintain all documentation to ensure GLP requirements are met and follows SOPs and safety protocols.
• Help with general facility maintenance as needed.
• Other tasks as required.

Job Title : QA Officer I

Frontage is a global Contract Research Company (CRO) with the head office located in Exton, Pennsylvania, USA . Frontage has 25 sites across USA, Canada, China and Italy. The Canadian operations include two sites – one located in Vancouver and the other based in Toronto. Frontage Vancouver (formerly BRI) has been in operation for more than 25 years with service offerings in regulated and non-regulated bioanalytical (various platforms including LC/MS/MS and MSD for small and large molecules analyses), In-vitro / In-vivo Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics and pharmacology. The Frontage Vancouver operation is projected to grow significantly in the next few years, especially to meet the demands of biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the Pacific Northwest region. Our facility is accredited by AAALAC and conforms to GLP standards.

Currently, we are seeking highly motivated team players to join Frontage organization in various roles.

This position requires excellent oral, written communication, and strong organizational skills.
