Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a QA Lead – Salesforce, NCINO to develop Test Strategies for project delivery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in Role:
- Develop test scenarios and queries for the in-house developed application, including database level and end-to-end testing scripts
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program functions, outputs, online screens, or content
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects
- Maintain a good understanding of testing standards and methodologies
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA Testing
- Experience with Salesforce integration
- At least 3 years of experience using:
- JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git
- Managing test cases and plans using JIRA plugins such as Xray or Zephyr
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Talend (version 7 or 8)
- Exposure to nCino, especially within financial services and automation contexts
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform functional testing
- Previous experience in the financial industry (FI)

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization, including strong presentation skills with executives

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering or a related discipline
