Job summary

Kabam in Vancouver is seeking a QA Lead to manage and direct the QA team, set testing standards, and prioritize tasks to ensure high-quality releases. You will mentor staff, coordinate test plans, and report defects to stakeholders while maintaining a safe, collaborative environment.

The role is full-time, on-site at our Downtown Vancouver studio, with a focus on live services testing and cross-functional collaboration with production, QA, and external vendors to drive test coverage and release

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Triple A game testing experience.
• Experience leading internal and external QA teams.
• Familiarity with multiple device types and testing platforms.
• Strong tech capabilities and QA tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction, priorities, and guidance to their reports.
• Lead testing efforts, manage test plans, and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with Production and QA leads to determine task priorities.
• Report defects to stakeholders and track resolution.
• Mentor team members and foster career development.
• Monitor risk and drive KPI targets for the QA area.
