Qualifications

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Some previous exposure to software testing is a plus.
• Eager to learn and share knowledge in a cross-functional team.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document test scenarios and test cases based on requirements and technical specs for all SOTI product lines.
• Create, implement and maintain test coverage for SOTI Web and Mobile apps.
• Work in an agile team with QA Analysts, Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Scrum Masters.
• Participate in testing execution for each sprint or testing phase.
• Analyze and document bugs and customer issues.
• Prioritize testing tasks and report on testing activities.
• Conduct exploratory testing during development.
• Offer innovative solutions to complex testing issues.
• Follow QA process improvements to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to shape SOTI's product offerings.

What you will do

• Design, develop and document application test scenarios and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI’s product offerings.
• Create, implement and maintain test coverage for SOTI’s Web and Mobile applications.

Experience you'll bring

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Good understanding of web/mobile applications, web services and databases, as well as the OSI model and computer networking principles (TCP/IP)
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Some previous exposure to software testing is a definite plus
• You are eager to constantly learn and update your skills in our cross-platform environment, and you like to share knowledge with others
• Excellent communication skills, and you will be able to share and exchange ideas with your team members and management
