Qualifications

Join our team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector (Afternoon shift) and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll be responsible for conducting in-process inspections and verifying that products are up to spec before release. Your role will also involve ensuring that our production staff and facilities adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations. You'll play a vital part in our commitment to sustainability, balancing the needs of people, planet, and profit in all your responsibilities.

  • Inspecting in-process manufacturing and packaging
  • Conducting finished product inspections and releases
  • Using ERP systems like Syspro for labour postings and certificates
  • Performing routine GMP inspections and environmental monitoring
  • Assisting with corrective actions and customer complaints follow-ups
  • Tracking and compiling daily outputs for KPIs
  • Identifying and improving SOPs and work procedures
  • Enforcing GMP and safety regulations
  • Providing QA coverage across shifts and locations

What you have:

  • 2+ years' experience in NHP, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Post-secondary education in a science discipline
  • Strong knowledge of GMP as per NNHPD standards
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to build positive relationships and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred
