Job summary

A leading food processing company in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor. You will oversee the quality of production and enforce quality standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your role will include leading a team, training staff, and improving quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in quality assurance, strong leadership skills, and a relevant diploma. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Required GFSI experience (SQF is an asset), PCQI certification.
• Disciplined, motivated, and accountable for all Quality Assurance matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent quality of production and plant sanitation.
• Lead HACCP program implementation and training.
• Provide leadership and direction to QA team.
• Maintain records of finished product specifications and QA forms.
• Create training materials and provide routine employee training.
• Implement quality enhancement processes and cost-saving measures.
