Job description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all plastic injection moulded parts meet strict quality standards and customer requirements. This role involves hands-on inspection, documentation, and close collaboration with production and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve overall quality standards for all moulded components.
  • Lead in-process and final inspections, including dimensional checks and visual inspections.
  • Communicate directly with customers on all quality matters, including feedback, complaints, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare, review, and update Quality Control (QC) documents such as Control Plans, PFMEA, PPAP, and inspection reports.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances.
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001 if applicable).
  • Work closely with production to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in plastic injection moulding quality assurance or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using SmartScope or other optical/3D measurement systems. Strong knowledge of quality control tools.
  • Documentation: Well-versed in all QC documentation and standards.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; able to liaise with customers and cross-functional teams.
