Job summary

veritree is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our platform across web and mobile applications, based in Vancouver. This role designs test strategies, builds automated suites, identifies defects early, and collaborates closely with engineering and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

As veritree scales its climate tech platform, you will help maintain data integrity and trust with partners through strong QA practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years in software quality assurance or a related testing role.
• Strong QA methodologies, testing frameworks, and defect lifecycle management.
• Proven experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience using AI tools to enhance the QA process.
• Clear, detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality standards are met before release.
• Track and report on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks to improve efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
