Job summary

Tigera is seeking a QA Engineer for Lynx, targeting end-to-end quality across Kubernetes-based runtime and AI-enabled detection. You will join a small, autonomous team and craft test strategy, automation, and release confidence for a product running at scale.

The role emphasizes automation over manual testing, building test harnesses, and validating model-driven behavior with robust regression and ground-truth methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software QA or test engineering with automation focus.
• Proficiency in at least Python for test automation.
• Hands-on experience testing distributed systems, APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Own the test strategy for Lynx across unit, integration, end-to-end testing.
• Build automated test suites and CI pipelines for fast feedback.
• Test Kubernetes-native, multi-node deployments under load and failure.
• Validate ML-driven behavior with regression tests and datasets.
• Create fixtures and synthetic data to reproduce edge cases.
• Investigate defects and drive resolution with engineering.
• Act as quality advocate in design and release decisions.
