Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to lead testing for our upcoming retail banking digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, covering both functional and non-functional aspects, with an understanding of retail banking software and solutions.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Build and improve test plans for new features and existing ones.
• Analyze requirements and design test cases.
• Conduct various testing types (Smoke, Sanity, Functional, SIT, E2E, Compatibility, Regression, Accessibility, Performance) and assist with UAT and post-production verification.
• Test mobile and web applications to ensure quality across platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, and Infrastructure teams.
• Identify, track, and report defects; perform root cause analysis and defect triage.
• Maintain documentation of QA processes, test cases, and findings.
• Share knowledge across team members.

Qualifications & Experience

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience Required:

At least 3 years in QA engineering, with experience in manual, web, and mobile testing.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Proficient with JIRA, Zephyr, Postman, and cross-browser/device testing tools.

Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Added Advantages

• Experience with performance/stress testing, accessibility testing, security testing, automated testing.
• Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments.
