Job summary

Staffingine LLC in Toronto is seeking a Sr QA Engineer to lead manual and automated testing across native mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web applications. You will design test plans, execute in-sprint testing, and drive regression suites in an agile team.

You will collaborate with product and development, create and maintain documentation, and report project status to management while applying strong API and UI automation skills with Appium, Jenkins, and SauceLabs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software testing experience in native iOS and Android mobile applications.
• 3+ years of experience in functional testing of the web applications.
• Strong grasp of testing methodologies for all types of testing - Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, White box, and Black box testing.
• Experience working with Atlassian products like JIRA, Xray and Confluence.
• Experience working with Postman and API Testing.
• Experience with BDD Gherkin scripting language.
• Experience in working closely with the software development and product team in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on Confluence.
• Communicate project status and discuss release plan with their Manager.

• Experience in handling multiple projects at the same time in a fast paced environment
• Good understanding of Source Code management and Version Control systems like GitHub, SourceTree
• Knowledge of Android Studio and Xcode
