Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. The QA Coordinator will collaborate with production to develop and implement quality procedures and programs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement, maintain, and develop quality procedures and programs.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining policies, SOPs, work instructions, records, and forms related to the Quality Management System.
  • Train staff on quality and regulatory systems.
  • Conduct internal inspections and audits.
  • Work with departments on root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving related to regulatory or quality issues.
  • Participate in Deviation and CAPA investigations.
  • Support QA record keeping, review, verification, and filing.
  • Prepare and submit Certificates of Analysis (COAs) as required.
  • Develop and update finished product specifications in coordination with Marketing and Production.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, logbooks, and data entry records.
  • Stay current with regulations related to cannabis manufacturing and distribution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of a Quality Management System.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and inventory systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and quick learning.
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Leadership, investigative, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
