Job summary

Fortinet in Canada is seeking a QA engineer with networking focus to join our security team in Burnaby. You will execute feature and bug fix testing using manual and automated methods, analyze code, and identify, document, and track defects with precision while working closely with developers to ensure fixes are correct and verifiable.

You will automate front-end testing, set up experimental and hot-test network systems, and apply your knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, switching and routing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA or network engineering experience
• Unix/Linux environment experience
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls and routing

Responsibilities

• Execute feature and bug fix testing using manual and automated techniques.
• Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.
• Automate front-end testing and other automation tools.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are fixed.
• Set up, maintain and operate experimental and hot-test network systems
