Job summary

FYihealth group in Canada, including FYidoctors, is seeking a QA Software Engineer to develop and execute automated test plans and cases across software projects. The role focuses on increasing automated testing coverage and ensuring reliability of test suites.

The position is based at our Home Office in Calgary, Alberta, and is a full-time contract through November 2027. You will build and integrate automated tests using PyTest or NUnit, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with DevOps

Qualifications

3+ years in software QA and automated testing.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
Experience with PyTest or NUnit and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain automated test suites across all proprietary software for full coverage.
Identify, log, and track defects and ensure timely fixes.
Participate in code reviews to improve testing and ensure quality.
Maintain and update automated tests with PyTest/NUnit to boost efficiency.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD.
Report testing progress, issues, and risks to QA lead and stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.
