Our team is expanding and looking for a smart, passionate, and agile QA Automation Engineer (6 month’s contract). In this hands‑on role, you’ll be a key contributor to product quality across our software suite. This is an exciting opportunity for emerging talent to help shape the future of Canada’s institutional mortgage industry while collaborating with our seasoned product and development teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Take an AI-first approach to designing, creating, and executing automated test scripts—using modern AI tools to accelerate development and improve test coverage.
  • Review manual test cases and provide feedback on automation suitability to the project team.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance automated test cases during iterative development, system testing, and regression cycles.
  • Review user stories and functional requirements to define clear test scenarios.
  • Assist with manual testing; execute test cases using test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with industry best practices and standards.
  • Participate in developing and refining QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of web‑app testing experience.
  • 2+ years with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or any tool you champion).
  • API testing with Postman (or similar).
  • AI-first approach to designing, creating, and executing automated test scripts in order to accelerate development and improve test coverage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and Git skills.
  • Comfortable with Agile sprints and frequent releases.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science is a plus.
