Job description

Our company has transformed from outsourcing to creating our own products. Currently, we follow a co-founding approach to launch new products. We are currently looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer for one of our projects!

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of QA automation experience, ideally in a SaaS environment;
2. Expertise with Playwright for UI automation;
3. Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, methods, status codes, headers;
4. Strong expertise with REST APIs, developing automated tests to validate payloads, cover edge cases, error handling;
5. Practical experience with databases and SQL queries;
6. In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, test planning and test case design.

Preferred skills:

1. Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc);
2. Understanding of approaches to identify performance bottlenecks;
3. Familiarity with Git for test scripts management;
4. Experience with CI/CD tools to integrate and manage test suites;
5. Hands-on experience of developing procedures within a team;
6. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform automated UI testing, functional and regression testing, to validate application features and user workflows;
2. Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs, verifying endpoints, response codes, and data consistency;
3. Conduct performance testing, identifying potential performance issues;
4. Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define test plans, and create test cases;
5. Document testing processes, methodologies and best practices across the QA team.
