Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a QA Auditor for a full-time, permanent position in Kitchener, ON. The role focuses on testing and inspecting products during production to ensure they meet quality standards, including GMP compliance and LDMS data management.

Responsibilities include sampling, COA preparation, and real-time quality checks across materials and finished goods. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, lab experience, and familiarity with HACCP and FDA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school background preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in an aseptic processing environment.
• Basic understanding of lab equipment and testing techniques; familiarity with HACCP, FDA regulations, and food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical testing on retail products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine sampling and auditing of retail and industrial packaging materials and raw ingredients for quality and specification adherence.
• Input and manage test results in LDMS accurately and timely.
• Prepare and complete Certificates of Analysis (COA) for outbound shipments.
• Perform real-time, in-process quality checks and laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure specifications.

Job Description - About the Role

The QA Auditor is responsible for testing and inspecting products during production to make sure they meet quality standards. This includes checking materials, in-process products, and finished goods. The role involves gathering and analyzing data to ensure products are reliable and of good quality. The QA Auditor also follows company procedures to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are maintained throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical testing on retail products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine sampling and auditing of retail and industrial packaging materials and raw ingredients for quality and specification adherence
• Input and manage test results in the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and complete Certificates of Analysis (COA) for outbound shipments.
• Perform real-time, in-process quality checks and laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift, which operates Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Shift differential included. The wage range for this position is $24.60–$24.85 per hour, with $24.60 as the starting rate and $24.85 as the full rate. This posting is for a newly created role that is not currently vacant.
