We are growing our QA Analyst community and are seeking talented individuals for 12-month fixed-term positions. As a QA Analyst, you will collaborate with an agile team, designing and documenting test scenarios, identifying target test items, scripting automated tests, and testing new features from design to deployment.

Candidates should be located in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote-first working model, utilizing in-person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:
  1. Determine requirements for deploying new features and functions to developer and test environments.
  2. Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts, analyzing results.
  3. Identify gaps in test coverage and design test cases and scenarios.
  4. Participate in functional, integration, E2E, and regression testing.
  5. Perform black-box (UI) and white-box (back-end) testing.
  6. Ensure adherence to QA standards and proper acceptance criteria.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams.
  8. Update stakeholders on testing status and results.
  9. Document, triage, investigate, and re-test bugs and failures.
What we’re looking for:
  1. 3+ years experience in planning, designing, developing, and testing software.
  2. 2+ years experience creating automation in Java or similar languages.
  3. 2+ years experience with Selenium, Java, or relevant scripting languages.
  4. Experience with manual and automation testing across web apps, APIs, databases, microservices, and backend systems.
  5. Knowledge of data structures and data manipulation.
  6. Strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
  7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Experience working in agile/scrum/kanban environments.
  9. Knowledge of retail business is a plus.

Compensation:

Annualized base pay range: $73,000.00 - $76,000.00. Starting pay will consider skills and experience, with potential growth as you advance your career with us.
