A leading retail company in British Columbia is seeking a QA Analyst to enhance their quality assurance processes. You will design and document test scenarios, perform various testing techniques, and collaborate with agile teams. We are growing our QA Analyst community and are on the lookout for incredible talent for intermediate positions in 12-month fixed term capacities.
As a QA Analyst, you will be collaborating with an agile team and designing and documenting test scenarios, identifying target test items, and testing new features from the design stage all the way through to deployment.
This role requires the candidate to be present in the Lower Mainland, BC with the ability to commute to the Best Buy DC and stores.

Determining the requirements for deploying new features and functions to developer and test environments
Analyzing and identifying gaps in test coverage, and designing test cases and test scenarios
Participating in functional testing, integration testing, E2E testing and regression testing.
Performing black-box (UI based) testing and/or white-box (back-end) testing.
Being the quality champion by ensuring the team is following the proper acceptance criteria, leveraging the right test cases, and adhering to QA standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Keeping stakeholders up to date on the status and results of testing.
Documenting, triaging, investigating, and re-testing bugs and failures.
3 to 5 years of experience planning, designing, developing, and testing software.
2+ years of QA experience in retail, focused on supply chain management, including warehouse management, inventory management, store management, order fulfillment, and eCommerce.
Experience with manual and automation testing across webapps, API’s, databases, microservices, and backend systems.
Knowledge of data structures and data manipulation.
Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in an agile/scrum/Kanban environment.

Annualized base pay range
$73,000.00 - $76,000.00
