You Are
We are seeking a skilled QA Analyst with good experience in functional and database testing. As a QA Analyst, you will also work closely with data scientists, developers, and product teams to provide high-quality data-driven solutions.

The Opportunity

• Develop comprehensive functional test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and developers to understand functional requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test results.
• Execute test cases.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that changes made do not affect existing functionality.
• Support and guide UAT testing to ensure that solutions meet business user expectations and functional requirements.
• Communicate testing results, issues, and improvements to stakeholders and ensure that business requirements are met throughout the development cycle.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues in functional areas of the system.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

• More than 7 years of experience in Manual and Database Testing.
• Good experience in Functional testing, Mobile testing, Regression testing, Database testing, etc.
• Experience with SQL for database queries and data validation. Handling structured and unstructured data is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Knowledge of automation tools or experience automating functional tests (e.g., using Selenium or similar tools) is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with business users, developers, and data scientists.

Compensation varies depending on factors like location, role, skills, education, and experience. UST offers a reasonable salary range for roles across various U.S. markets.

Role Location: Ontario

Compensation Range: $98,000-$120,000

• Full-time employees accrue at least 10 days of paid vacation per year, plus sick leave, paid holidays, and other benefits.
• Part-time and temporary employees also receive paid sick leave and are eligible for healthcare benefits where applicable.
