Description

This role involves ensuring quality through testing and validation of systems. The responsibilities include:

1. Providing advice on testing strategies, test plans, and tool selection.
2. Planning and organizing testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments, such as systems integration, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
3. Developing and executing test plans, scripts, and cases across various system components.
4. Collaborating with testing leads, IT leads, and project team members throughout the system development lifecycle.

General Skills

• Experience in planning, organizing, and executing testing efforts.
• Knowledge of structured development methodologies.
• Proficiency with CASE tools, data query tools, automated testing tools, and version control systems.
• Experience with functional, non-functional, and integration testing.
• Supporting and participating in UAT activities.
• Understanding of QA principles, practices, and tools.
• Creating comprehensive testing documentation.
• Experience with various testing phases, including unit, integration, load, and performance testing.
• Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Testing Experience (35%)

• Understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.

Technical Skills (20%)

• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of defect management lifecycle.
• Ability to document test cases and execution plans.
• Experience with automation tools (GUI and API) and SQL is a plus.

Public Sector Experience (5%)

• Experience with Siebel modules relevant to the public sector and case management is beneficial.

Must Haves

• 8+ years of QA testing experience.
• Testing experience with Oracle Siebel CRM and Adobe AEM.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.

Nice to Have

• Experience with specific Siebel modules like Public Sector CRM, Contracts, etc.
