Job description

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant – HCM with extensive experience in Workday economy. This person will interface with key stakeholders and apply domain, technical, and functional proficiency, including requirements elicitation, design, build, and deployment of solutions to support the customer's Workday HCM application.

As a Senior Consultant, the individual will play a vital role in creating and developing industry solutions. The role involves working in a learning culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration, with rewards for excellence. The person will be responsible for creating high-level design artifacts, serving as a key member of the digital technology team involved in HCM digital projects, integration development, and collaborating with finance leads, technical product managers, corporate and business unit teams, and third parties to orchestrate digital solutions using Workday HCM.

Skills and Requirements
  1. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Ontario, or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty can substitute for each year of education.
  3. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  4. Eligibility to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visa; no immigration sponsorship available for this role.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Workday HCM implementation or support projects, with relevant experience in HCM domain.
  • Proficiency in HCM processes and reports, with the ability to suggest best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday cloud projects.
  • Experience in HCM modules, building integrations, reports, and customizing business processes using native Workday tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in teams on large, complex HCM projects.
  • Knowledge of full SDLC lifecycle, agile practices, and global delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, verbal, and written skills.

The role involves prolonged sitting and working at a computer, with communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face.

Estimated annual compensation for candidates in Ontario ranges from $89,004 to $103,042.
