Randstad Enterprise invites applications for a highly motivated professional to join our MBS Risk & Pricing Technology team in Montreal. The role blends production support with hands-on development across risk and pricing systems used by the business.

You will work with Python and shell scripting, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to automation and system improvements while collaborating with business users and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with production support and root cause analysis.
• Strong Python programming and Shell scripting.
• Experience with data querying (Sybase, SQL) and Excel.
• Interest in Fixed Income risk and pricing is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for risk and pricing systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner. (60%)
• Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes and improvements.
• Collaborate with business users and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute to development efforts, including enhancements, automation, and system improvements. (40%)
• Improve system stability, performance, and operational efficiency through automation and tooling.
• Participate in release deployment, testing, and production rollout activities.
• Ensure high-quality standards and controls are maintained in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously learn financial products, business workflows, and new technologies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on issues and deliverables.
