Overview

A career within PwC Private provides the opportunity to help private companies with a range of business advisory needs, including audit, tax compliance, and planning, to improve operational efficiency and enable clients to focus on strategy. As a PwC Private Manager, you will be part of a team that supports privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high‑net‑worth individuals, assisting with wealth management, cash‑flow and equity expansion, divestitures, and exit strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and advise on complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • Encourage inclusive collaboration and invite contributions from all team members.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous, unstructured problems and adaptive solutions.
  • Initiate open and candid coaching conversations across all levels.
  • Move between big‑picture thinking and detailed management.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop proactive solutions.
  • Contribute technical tax knowledge and act as domain expert.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • CPA, CA or other relevant professional designation.
  • Master’s degree in Tax or completion of Levels I‑III of the CPA In‑Depth Tax Course.
  • Experience in an accounting firm with private‑client focus.
  • Proven leadership with strong business development and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Superior problem‑solving, analytical, and creative thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments under pressure.
  • Interest in digital trends, eagerness to learn new tools and adapt work methods.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and coaching diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English and French to support communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $77,400 – $127,400, based on skills, experience and location. Eligible employees may also participate in variable incentive pay programs designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
