Job Description & Summary: A career within PwC Private offers the opportunity to assist private companies with business advisory needs such as audit, tax compliance, and planning. The role involves helping clients improve operational efficiency and focus on business strategy, covering the entire business life cycle from inception to exit. Our team designs and implements personalized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals, focusing on wealth management, compliance, cash flow, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.

Our PwC Private teams support entrepreneurs, private business owners, and family enterprises in managing ownership and growth. PwC’s High Net Worth (HNW) practice specifically supports high-net-worth individuals and prominent families with tax and business advisory services including tax and estate planning, audits, and compliance. The team acts as trusted advisors, helping clients optimize wealth growth and minimize tax and compliance burdens.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of:

As a Manager in PwC Private, High Net Worth Tax, you’ll work with a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:

• Managing complex compliance engagements (e.g., Canadian income tax, trust returns)
• Participating in diverse consulting engagements
• Identifying client opportunities and proposing tailored solutions
• Leading proposal development and team coordination
• Building a broad network, including industry associations
• Supporting the development and mentorship of junior staff
• Contributing to market and business development activities, including publications

Experiences and skills to utilize:

• A Master’s degree in Tax, CPA designation, and TEP designation (or pursuing these) are assets
• Experience in public accounting or law, with knowledge of Canadian tax laws for high-net-worth clients
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams efficiently
• Business development enthusiasm
• Leadership in mentoring and team collaboration
• Research, organizational skills, and proactive attitude
• Willingness to travel up to 20%; flexible work location options

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for BC is $73,400 - $122,400, plus potential bonuses. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and location. PwC offers competitive benefits, inclusive work environment, and development opportunities.
