Pursuit CollectionJasper, AB$21 an hour - Full-timeJob detailsPay$21 an hourJob typeFull-timeLocationJasper, ABFull job descriptionWhat will be your daily pursuit?:Your daily pursuit is keeping our spaces pristine and inviting, ensuring guests enjoy the beauty of our historic lodges, hotels, cabins, and properties.What will your compensation be?:The starting salary for this position is $21.00 per hour.When does this adventure begin?:This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2025.What perks can you expect?:Join an inclusive, global team and make life-long connections.Enjoy free access to Pursuit attractions and 50% off for friends.Get discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail.Access subsidized mental health and wellness resources.What will you do in this job?:Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the 7 hotel properties while maintaining the highest standard of qualityDaily duties to maintain the upkeep of all facilities including pools, restaurants, guest rooms and meeting roomsFrequent interaction with coworkers, management and guestsComplete basic repairs to guest rooms and other areas of hotel, and assist supervisors and the Maintenance Manager with major repairsComplete yard work as required including snow removal, gardening, mowing lawns, etc.Encourage and participate in safe work practicesAssist other departments as required, including guest services, security, etc.Report to the Maintenance Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assignedWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:Grade 12 Diploma combined with education in a trade or equivalent experience is an assetCreative thinking and problem solving skillsSelf-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervisionEager to learn and grow as a member of our dynamic teamPossess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience or knowledge in related maintenance areas is an asset (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool treatment, and painting) but on-site training can be provided.Basic knowledge of tools and their uses (tools provided)Ability to manage large workloads and demands, and effectively multitaskAbility to work flexible shifts, day (7am-3pm) and night (3pm-11pm)Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving abstractClass 4 Alberta drivers license is an assetTo honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record checkWhat will your work environment be like?:Beautiful.
