Responsibilities

P OSITION SUMMARY

The Purchasing Administrator will assist with ensuring the accurate receipt of all goods and services utilizing the inventory purchasing system. They also verify that the work performed in the receiving space to ensure accuracy of inventory specification and product quality. This position also prepares & maintains related records and reports. They will be responsible for the accurate recording of accounting related transactions.

The successful candidate will have a can do attitude who is a team player where no task is too big or too small. They enjoy taking ownership over their work and take pride in their workspace and deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organizing and matching backups to Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Processing POs for departments (F&B or other).
  • Processing POs for invoices.
  • Scanning backups/PRs/POs into current folder.
  • Assist sourcing quotes for items to purchase.
  • Vendor Registration process with OLG.
  • OLG Weekly spend report.
  • Updating info, including spend levels to ensure proper AGCO registration.
  • Entering data into Cobblestone purchasing/contract system.
  • Reviewing inventory stock levels with Inventory Supervisor and orders with Purchaser to maintain par levels.
  • Assist with receipt of products as outlined in the Purchasing Manual.
  • Preparation of deliveries.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Vendor-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • INFINIUM knowledge considered an asset.

Skills

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Must possess ability to follow written or verbal basic instructions.
  • Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent work ethic being mature, reliable, punctual, with a positive attitude and enthusiastic behaviour.
  • Work independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Carry or life up to approximately 60 lbs.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
