Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a variety of administrative duties such as responding to routine procurement inquiries, preparing routine correspondence, taking minutes, and formatting, editing, and proof-reading procurement documents, spreadsheets, contracts, etc.
  2. Prepare routine purchase orders, contracts, and amendments using standard form templates.
  3. Liaise with vendors, obtain approvals (internal and external), and ensure timely processing of procurement documents.
  4. Provide administrative support for procurement processes, including compiling procurement data.
  5. Process the disposal of corporate assets, including receiving disposal authorizations, assigning disposal numbers, and preparing disposal orders.

Qualifications:

  1. 1 year of experience in a procurement-related position.
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience in purchasing and administrative support.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $52000.00/hr.
