Job description

We’re hiring a Purchasing and Replenishment Agent to join a national leader in plumbing, HVAC / R, and industrial distribution in Calgary, AB. What you will do as a Purchasing and Replenishment Agent :
  • Generate daily and ad hoc replenishment orders to support various locations, including non-standard or on-demand products.
  • Monitor inventory discrepancies using forecasting tools like Slim4 and take corrective action within assigned product lines.
  • Collaborate with demand planning and purchasing teams to refine forecasts and inventory settings for optimal service levels and stock investment.
  • Identify stock redistribution opportunities across regions and implement them to improve efficiency and availability.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to proactively manage supply chain issues and delays.
  • Recommend supply path improvements and ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and procedures while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will bring as a Purchasing and Replenishment Agent :
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory planning and supply chain, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP forecasting systems; experience with Slim4 is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to thrive in dynamic environments with competing priorities.
  • Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.
