Purchasing and Production Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Inventory Management
• Supplier Coordination: Issue purchase orders, confirm with suppliers, and follow up on orders to ensure timely deliveries
• Inventory Analysis: Perform weekly inventory assessments to determine replenishment needs
• Stock Management: Monitor and maintain reorder points for raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages
• Freight & Logistics Coordination: Organize inbound freight and ensure proper inventory transfers between warehouses
• Production Scheduling & Operations
• Production Planning: Prepare daily production schedules and ensure all materials are on hand for manufacturing
• Inventory Transfers: Coordinate daily warehouse transfers to maintain optimal stock levels for production
• System Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, production schedules, and stock levels in QuickBooks
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Internal Coordination: Work closely with production, fulfillment, and logistics teams to align supply with demand
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in procurement and production workflows
• Data Management & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports on inventory, supplier performance, and production efficiency

• You’re tech-savvy – Proficient in QuickBooks, Asana, Google Sheets, and inventory management tools

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (CPG experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets (or Excel) is required
• University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English & French) preferred

Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
Pay: $60,000
