Job summary

PAL Technical Services in St. John’s, NL is seeking a qualified Purchaser to research, evaluate and purchase products for the Aerospace industry. The role involves obtaining supplier quotes, negotiating delivery schedules and supporting long term supplier agreements.

The successful candidate will manage inventory levels, handle day-to-day logistics, and ensure compliance with customs and controlled goods. Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing merchandise, materials, components, and/or equipment.
• Experience ordering parts, inventory, and warehouse work.
• The ability to control, measure and regulate efficient stores inventory levels based on operational requirements balanced with financial consideration.
• Handle day-to-day logistics associated with receiving, storage and shipments, including meeting regulations with customs and controlled goods.
• Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel are essential.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented individual that can meet regular deadlines and can manage time efficiently.
• Experience in customs and controlled goods
• Exceptional organization skills
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment

PAL Technical Servicesis seeking qualified applications for the position ofPurchaser at our St. John's, NLbase.
