What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Purchaser who is looking for the opportunity to be a part of a growing organization. This position will be responsible for purchasing activities in support of heavy maintenance activities, line purchase requirements and assigned projects in preparation for the next maintenance cycles.
Duties And Responsibilities
- On-time release of Purchase Orders to Work Order demand and lead times.
- Manage the on-time delivery of PO’s to demand requirements through PO confirmation and continuous coordination with vendors, customers, and transportation providers.
- Escalation of projected late or late delivery, initiation and communication of recovery plan and follow-through with the supplier.
- Daily review and completion of assigned tasks within the assigned and agreed timeline. Timely and accurate communication of issues and changes to affected departments and personnel.
- Monitor that all requirements identified in our process have been properly updated in the Purchase Orders in the company ERP (Corridor).
- Manage workload priority level and ensure appropriate action and seamless supply of product.
- Ensure Coulson Group of Companies procedures and standards are being met.
- Update System attributes (Lead time, Pricing, etc.) in ERP to ensure record of clean data.
- Support and facilitate end-to-end supply chain solutions for all Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders. This role will partake in sharing of the AOG phone and manage all AOG transactions on an assigned rotation basis.
- Take initiative to lead others to best support company objectives, meeting department targets and expectations.
- Adapt to a continuous improvement mindset and participate in the constant development of company efficiencies and processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 5-7 years of aviation, automotive, or manufacturing purchasing experience.
- 2-3 years of aviation industry experience preferred.
- 1+ years experience in senior procurement role preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
- Very detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle stress well and be flexible.
- Ability to adapt well to a constantly changing environment.

- $30 - $40 per hour, depending on experience.
