Job summary

Homestead Co-op is hiring a Part Time Pump Attendant at our Portage Marketplace Gas Bar location. Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, you will handle customer transactions, operate pumps, propane filling, and process payments while following safety and tobacco sale policies.

You will also help with merchandising and housekeeping to maintain a clean, welcoming gas bar environment. We value excellent customer service, problem solving, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer sales transactions and operate pumps per policy.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager your duties will include but are not limited to; proper handling of all customer sales transactions, following company policies and procedures with respect to the operation of pumps, propane filling, credit and debit cards, cheques, coupons, loss prevention, sale of tobacco products, WHMIS and other safety procedures. Ensuring proper merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained.
