Job Details

• Position: Pulaar-English Phone Interpreter
• Location: Work from Home in Canada
• Pay: $0.70 - $0.85 per minute, depending on call time and interpretation level

Responsibilities

• Handle on-demand calls, providing accurate interpretation between Pulaar and English speakers.
• Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality during calls.
• Follow client protocols, especially during sensitive or emotional calls.
• Ensure a quiet, secure, and distraction-free environment for work.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Pulaar and English, with cultural competency.
• Excellent listening and note-taking skills.
• Ability to remain neutral and professional, even in stressful situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; language-related education or experience preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Technical & Physical Requirements

• Personal device with internet connection meeting specified speeds.
