Job description

The Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers is accepting applications for the position of a full-time
PUBLIC WORKS OPERATOR/LABOURER.
– Must possess a valid DZ licence (or obtain within 6 months of employment)
– Must have equipment operating experience
– Must be willing to work on an as-needed, full-time basis, including accepting call-outs as
dictated by road conditions and weather
– Must be willing to submit a criminal records check
– Road testing will be included in the interview process
The following will be considered an asset: AZ licence, Secondary School diploma or
equivalency, Common Core Surface Miner training; Class 1 Water Distribution certification.
The salary range for this position is $29.50 – $34.20 per hour, based on a 40 hour work week. The
Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers also provides an excellent benefit package and OMERS
