Job summary

Yellowknives Dene First Nation in Dettah seeks a Class 3 Driver to ensure timely and safe transportation for Dettah and Ndilo residents, offices and access routes. The role includes maintaining the shuttle bus and assisting with water delivery and basic public works tasks.

Based in Dettah, with a Monday–Friday schedule, you will plan efficient routes, perform daily vehicle checks, adhere to safety procedures, and help maintain the Fire Hall and related equipment as required by the Public Works

Qualifications

• Heavy Equipment Operator or Truck Driving Course required.
• Fire Safety Training preferred.
• Experience in Transportation Services or shuttle operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate route planning for Dettah and Ndilo residents daily.
• Maintain shuttle bus in safe operating condition and follow safety procedures.
• Deliver water truck duties and general public works tasks as assigned.
• Complete incident reports and maintain delivery records.
