Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Engineer to join our Canadian Systems Engineering team and deliver an existing and future portfolio of rail projects in a multidisciplinary setting. You will develop detailed OCS designs and deliverables, coordinate with Traction Power, Comms, S&TCS, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and other disciplines, and engage with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree plus 6 years of relevant experience in OCS design for public transit rail projects.
• Professional Engineer designation or eligibility to obtain within 12–18 months.
• Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed OCS designs for public transit rail projects.
• Produce OCS design deliverables: drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams, foundation drawings, grounding drawings.
• Interface with multiple disciplines and manage interfaces and ICDs.
• Lead technical interactions with clients, operators and stakeholders.
• Support project pursuit efforts and mentor junior staff.
