As a Public Service Integrity Consultant, you will assess risks to mitigate fraud, waste, abuse, and errors within technology systems and processes. You will document requirements, including integrity controls and evidence, while collaborating across agile teams to resolve cross-product dependencies. You will also be called up to help educate team members on integrity risks and contribute expertise to product design and strategy.

People in our Public Service group work in multi-disciplinary teams serving an array of clients across federal, provincial and municipal government, non-profit, health and educational industries. Our work informs and delivers programmatic, operational, process and organization design, transformation and service delivery performance and outcome improvements. We implement business changes that drive function and digital operating model transformation.

Here’s What You Need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in projects involving risk assessments, risk controls development/design, broader business analysis focused on risk prevention.

  • Previous experience with building prevention and detection use cases, operating models, strategies in fraud prevention

  • Excellent critical thinking, presentation and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, adept at developing formulas to simplify processes, managing large and complex data sets, and identifying patterns to translate into actionable insights.

  • Experience as a business analyst including solid writing, documentation and communication skills

  • Strong team and work ethic, comfortable with ambiguity, change and challenge

  • A curious and open mind, keen on delivering the best solutions to our clients.

  • Candidate must have or be eligible to obtain a Reliability or secret level security clearance with the federal Government of Canada.

Bonus Points if:

  • Consulting (internal or external) experience

  • Experience working or consulting in the public service

  • Background in process analysis, management, and improvement

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Excellent communication (written, oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Experience facilitating groups

  • You have experience leveraging digital tools for transformation initiatives, such as process analysis and future process design, benefits and value analytics etc.

  • You have worked in multi-disciplinary teams across business and technology

  • French language is an asset
