Security Officer at Harrington Memorial Hospital

Provide security for the safety and protection of Harrington Memorial Hospital's patients, staff, the general public, and properties. Responsibilities include patrolling buildings and grounds, examining points of entry, reporting irregularities, and assisting law enforcement as needed.

  1. Patrol hospital premises regularly to ensure safety.
  2. Check doors, windows, and other points of entry for security.
  3. Warn and expel violators of rules, and apprehend suspicious individuals.
  4. Report hazards and irregularities such as fire risks and security breaches.
  5. Monitor for theft and other criminal activities, and document incidents.
  6. Assist law enforcement and hospital staff in security matters.
  7. Follow all orders from security supervisors.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
