We’re seeking a dynamic and resourceful PR Manager to play a key role in our global communications efforts. Reporting to our Public Relations Lead, you’ll drive media engagement across our target markets, helping to introduce Joby to the world. Your work will span press relations, influencer outreach, editorial storytelling, and social media strategy.

You’ll likely have 5 or more years of experience in PR, either in-house or in agency. You’ll have direct experience of working in one or more of consumer comms, corporate comms or financial comms and you’ll have demonstrable experience of executing awesome PR, from story development to writing releases, pitching and managing PR events. Ideally, you’ll have experience of working with trade media and international media too.
As a professional, you’re equal parts strategic and scrappy. You’re curious and love to learn about science and engineering while managing to turn complex concepts into compelling stories that you can tell at multiple altitudes. You are a keen learner, an effective communicator and you’re passionate about what we’re trying to achieve at Joby.

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $96,000 - $169,000/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
