Job summary

Northeastern Public Health is seeking registered nurses to apply their nursing knowledge to promote, protect, and preserve population health at multiple levels. You will join an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate public health programs for the community and catchment area.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, have public health experience, and can travel as needed. Fluency in both official languages is an asset, and valid immunization status is required.

Qualifications

  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous public health or community nursing experience is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in both official languages is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to meet program needs.
  • Access to a vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Required to comply with Immunization policies, including COVID-19 vaccination unless valid medical exemption is provided.
