Job summary

The Edmonton Arts Council is seeking a Manager, Public Art, reporting to the Vice President, Programs and Services. This in-person role is based at the Prince of Wales Armouries and leads a team responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating public art projects in Edmonton.

You will steer program development, manage relationships with City partners, artists, and community members, and ensure alignment with City policy and Indigenous principles. Closing date Sept 8, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and delivering programs.
• Ability to build relationships with city partners, artists and community.
• Proven track record in program development and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of advisors to manage public art projects from planning to completion.
• Oversee growth and management of the public art program and align with policy.
• Collaborate across Conservation and Collections for IDEA and Indigenous principles.
• Refine administrative processes and oversee electronic file management.
