Job description

Store - THUNDER BAY, ON

Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and help them find what they need. Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, maintain store recovery standards, and support our Brand Promises.

  1. Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
  2. Provide efficient checkout and handle cash transactions according to standards.
  3. Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; assist with enrollments.
  4. Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  5. Support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  6. Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
  7. Ensure merchandise recovery, returns, and store maintenance to keep the store well-merchandised and stocked.
  8. Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  9. Support shrink and safety initiatives.
  10. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure legal compliance.
  11. Maintain respectful interactions, promote a positive image, and serve as a role model for team members.
  12. Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Mobility throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders or similar equipment.
  • Work may include outdoor tasks and work in climate-controlled or non-climate-controlled areas.
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
