Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Clean and maintain the Service Desk/Kiosk.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to personal appearance policies.
• Assist in special projects and perform other assigned functions.
• Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep the work area safe and clean.
• Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Perform price checks, record discrepancies, and handle transactions accurately.
• Verify customer IDs and adhere to store policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
• Manage cash registers securely and report any issues.
• Use and maintain equipment properly and report malfunctions.
• Maintain sanitation standards per store and health regulations.
• Recognize produce varieties and perform cashier functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prerequisite Training

Completed Cashier/Service Associate training packet.

Physical Requirements

• Stand continuously, with occasional walking.
• Handle currency and operate equipment frequently.
• Bend, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Reach and grasp at various levels.
• Sufficient visual acuity for ID and document checks.

Preferred Requirements

• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Efficiently scan purchases and handle payments accurately.
• Process refunds and adhere to policies.
• Meet physical activity standards with or without accommodations.

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 hourly.
