Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Clean and maintain the Service Desk/Kiosk area.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
• Support company safety standards and report hazards or equipment issues.
• Ensure respectful treatment of all associates.
• Perform price check functions and record discrepancies.
• Verify customer IDs and adhere to store policies on check acceptance and age-restricted sales.
• Manage cash registers securely and process transactions accurately, including various payment types.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Recognize different produce varieties and perform cashier functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum age requirements met.
• Willingness and ability to learn multiple tasks and technical skills.
• Ability to perform technical job requirements.

Prerequisite Training:

Completed Cashier/Service Associate training packet.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand continuously; occasional walking.
• Handle currency and operate equipment.
• Bend, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull 75 pounds.
• Reach and grasp at various levels.
• Sufficient visual acuity for ID checks and documentation.

Preferred Requirements:

• Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously.
• Record purchases accurately.
• Handle payments and refunds appropriately.
• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Follow Anti-Money Laundering guidelines for financial transactions.

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 per hour.
