Primary Purpose:

Perform duties to maintain department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety at high standards. Support Hannaford's strategy, build customer relations, and provide enthusiastic customer service.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. most of the time, occasionally 75 lbs.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Meet activity standards for the department.
• Bend, reach, grasp, and lift produce items regularly.
• Use hands and tools for handling products and cleaning.
• Work in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Preferred Requirements:

• Assist customers in locating and selecting products.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation per guidelines.
• Prepare products according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness per company policy.
• Adhere to quality standards and achieve productivity goals.
• Develop product knowledge across the department.

• Assist in training colleagues and perform other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 hourly.
