Job summary

InnovOak School in Kitchener-Waterloo is seeking exceptional Daily Occasional Supply Teachers to join our growing team. The successful candidate will deliver prepared lessons, build positive relationships, and maintain a safe, organized classroom across PreKindergarten through Grade 12.

Qualifications

• Ontario College of Teachers certification or eligibility is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor of Education completed or in progress.
• Applications from both experienced teachers and exceptional new graduates are encouraged.
• Experience teaching in elementary and/or secondary classrooms is an asset.
• Experience with independent schools, Cambridge curriculum, Singapore Mathematics, structured literacy, or enriched academic programming is considered an asset.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

InnovOak School is seeking exceptional Daily Occasional Supply Teachers to join our growing team.

Due to continued enrolment growth, we are expanding our supply teacher list and are seeking a small number of outstanding educators who are passionate about teaching and committed to maintaining high expectations for student learning.

Unlike many schools, InnovOak views its supply teachers as an important part of the school community. We regularly hire from our supply list as part-time and full-time teaching opportunities become available. This position provides an excellent opportunity for educators interested in becoming part of a growing independent school and demonstrating their teaching abilities within our classrooms.

The successful candidate will:
