Position Summary

As a member of a multidisciplinary Collaborative Practice Team, the physiotherapist provides assessment and treatment within their full scope to achieve patient-directed goals, improve quality of life, and assist with discharge planning. The successful candidate will participate in program planning and development; support quality management and research initiatives; supervise therapy assistants; mentor colleagues and students; and assist with coverage across clinical areas as needed. This position supports scheduled days off for full-time staff, including weekend coverage, with availability preferred for additional shifts at Chicopee.

Position Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • A minimum of two years hospital-related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, problem-solve, and respond to competing demands.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, community resources, and discharge planning processes.
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Experience in complex decision-making, advancing best practices, and exploring innovative care models.
  • Proven self-directed learning and peer evaluation skills.
  • Flexibility to provide coverage across the organization as required.
